HATHA YOGA
The traditional Hatha Yoga consists mainly of non-moving exercises with great attention to breathing.
The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit and means ‘union’ or ‘bringing together’. Yoga originated in India more than 4,000 years ago. It was a way to achieve a deeper state of meditation.
The core of yoga nowadays is that the unity of body and spirit is found in a combination of breathing, physical exercise and concentration.
The exercises (Asanas) give strength and energy and provide an overall pleasant feeling of relaxation.
YIN YOGA
Yin yoga is a slow, soothing form of yoga. In yin yoga, the body postures – asanas – are held for a longer period of time. About three to five minutes. These poses are aimed at stimulating and relaxing your connective tissue and your joints. During the exercises, it is important to focus on your breathing and release the muscle tension. The postures are most often performed sitting or lying down.
On request, MArjaaNi can arrange a Yin Yoga class live or online.

THAI YOGA MASSAGE
Thai Yoga Massage is a thousand-year-old form of massage with influences from Indian yoga and Chinese acupressure. This form of massage is a method that treats the human being as a whole in body, soul and spirit. It works with energy channels, or Sen, that run through the body and provide the body with life energy (Prana).
The purpose of the massage is to harmonize the energy in the body and to remove any blockages. Thai Yoga Massage works deeply on a physical and energetic level.
The main components of the massage are the yogic stretches, activating the energy lines and applying pressure to the acupressure points (including foot reflexology). The massage gives a feeling of deep relaxation and harmony.
This massage also makes the muscles supple and the joints stronger, activates the blood circulation and the lymphatic system and better balances the energy pathways.
The massage is given from love, kindness and respect.
For whom is this massage suitable?
The massage is for everyone, but especially effective for people with stress complaints such as fatigue and tenseness. In Western society, people have to perform a lot, live under a lot of pressure, spend a lot of time behind the PC and have too little time to exercise. Thai Yoga massage helps to prevent and reduce any stress complaints.
